10 Essential Marvel Heroes Not Yet Used In The MCU

3. Sentry

Marvel Wonder Man
Marvel Comics

Sentry was first introduced back in 2000, but came with the gimmick that he had been around all along, only to have erased that knowledge from nearly everyone in the world. Sentry is a complex character who's fractured psyche is also his greatest villain.

He is said to have the "power of one million exploding suns," which essentially makes him the Superman of the Marvel Universe... and then some.

Sentry's powers aside, he is a complex character who could have easily defeated Thanos in Infinity War. That may be why he hasn't shown up in the MCU, but moving beyond Phase 3, it would certainly be a daring move for Marvel to throw Sentry into the mix.

Marvel's Phase 4 plans are a mystery, but with so many members of the Avengers purported to make their exit, Captain Marvel is going to need another heavy hitter on her side. Sentry could fill that void and become an enduring character who would replace the likes of Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man when they eventually depart the MCU.
