10 Essential Marvel Teams Not Yet Used In The Movies

9. Agents Of Atlas

Dark Avengers
Marvel Comics

Steeped in intrigue, set mostly in the fifties, with origins found in the rich history of the ancient Mongol Empire, the Atlas Foundation and their pursuit of world domination for the good of mankind would make not only a fascinating addition to the MCU, but a fascinating film in general.

Secret societies, super-powered agents, the descendant of Genghis Khan, a sentient robot, and Gorilla man wielding a firearm, all make up the kind of entertaining and mysterious pulp stories of the mid-1900s that would bring a classic twist that audiences haven't yet seen in the MCU beyond Captain America's World War II origin.

It's the kind of story that can stand alone without needing the context of the first Phases to back it, while still adding to the MCU's colourful mythos and giving fans of the campy, classy espionage stories of the era something to sink their teeth into.

And heir to the empire, descendant of Genghis Khan, Jimmy Woo, as well as his team of misfit good guy agents, are sure to establish themselves as lovable a team as their cinematic predecessors in the Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers.
