8. Alpha Flight
Canada's premiere hero team may not sound like the most epic fare at first, but Alpha Flight is one of the most iconic teams in the Marvel Universe, full of iconic characters and a heroism needed for darker times in the MCU, and in the world at large.
With characters like James Hudson, an engineer who turned his back on an American-Canadian oil company who tried to use his Guardian's Battle Suit as a weapon; Wolverine of X-Men fame; as well as the first LGBTQ+ character of Marvel, Northstar, are only some of the heroes included in Alpha Flight's lineup.
A team of adventurers with the unique position of being government-sanctioned and established, Alpha Flight would make for the most nuanced foils to the vigilante-esque hero teams the MCU has seen so far, their own heroes uniquely un-American and more interesting for it.
Seeing the difference between them and the largely American rosters in the MCU would bring a fresh new take to superheroes that, up to this point, audiences have gotten used to.
