10 Essential Marvel Villains Not Yet Used In The MCU

8. The Beyonder

As with Thane, The Beyonder is not the most well known villain to casual audiences, but is the main antagonist of one of Marvel's biggest ever crossover events - Secret Wars.

When the world's superheroes and supervillains find themselves suddenly on a mysterious planet, they aren't sure what' going on. Even the mighty Galactus has been trapped on this strange world. It is The Beyonder who is responsible, an obviously powerful celestial being who has created the planet Battleworld, simply to watch the heroes and villains fight to the death.

After the wild success of Infinity War, Kevin Feige and co. must already be thinking of the next big crossover event, and Secret Wars can't be far from the top of their list. Not only would this act as a way to see all our favourite characters in one place, possibly even characters previously killed off, it may be a way to bring in the likes of the X-Men or the Fantastic Four.

Bringing these into Battleworld as already established teams from different universes or realities would remove the need for yet more origin stories, and when all is said and done, the X-Men and Fantastic Four can return to their respective realities, within the MCU but untouched by The Avengers.
