10 Essential Marvel Villains Not Yet Used In The MCU

Spider-Man has one of the richest rogues galleries in all of Marvel comics, boasting all kinds of terrifying bad guys and girls. At the top of that pile is the Green Goblin, alter ego of Peter's best friend Harry Osborn, and his father Norman before him.

As incredible as the character has been throughout the history of the comics, torturing Spider-Man for years, in particular during 'The Night that Gwen Stacey Died', there has already been two separate iterations of the character over the past sixteen years.

Yet a third stab at the character would definitely be worth a go for Marvel. There was scepticism over a third Peter Parker following The Amazing Spider-Man films, but Tom Holland has made Spidey one of the most popular characters in the entire MCU. Plus, with Spider-Man: Far From Home already full of villains, it wouldn't be until the third movie of the franchise that Osborn could show up, which will likely not be until 2021/2022, almost ten years since Dane DeHaan took up the mantle.

The MCU has previously pitted an older villain against the young Peter Parker with the Vulture in Homecoming, so should the Green Goblin make his MCU debut, there is no reason to think it wouldn't be the best iteration of the character.
