10 Even More Movie Mistakes Directors Refused To Fix Because The Acting Was Too Good

3. One Tough Little Girl - Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory

The Hateful Eight
Paramount Pictures

If you know anything about the filming of the first big screen adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, then you'll known that many of the young actors involved had a pretty terrible time.

The production was ruthless, often dropping surprises on them to capture their genuine reactions. The whole psychedelic boat trip scene with the beheaded chicken? Yeah, only Gene Wilder knew that was going to happen.

As it turns out, it wasn't just the five golden ticket winners who suffered on set.

During the movie's opening song, the ever-hummable Candyman, Bill the sweet shop owner serenades a room full of kids about the wonders of chocolate. As he opens a section of the counter up to walk out onto the shop floor, you can see him clearly catch one of the extras right under the chin.

Despite taking a full uppercut, the little girl carries on as if nothing ever happened. Honestly, someone check this kid for super serum.

To be honest, it's not like the blow was going to knock any of her teeth out. With the amount of sugar she'd just consumed, she probably didn't have any left.
