9. Thinking Of Wilson Whenever You See A Volleyball

When Chuck Noland (Tom Hanks), a systems analyst for FedEX, crash lands on a deserted island he is left completely alone with literally nobody to share his dread. Well, that's not exactly true. He actually forms a rather strong bond with a volleyball that he appropriately names Wilson. And while Wilson isn't a man of many words he knows how to listen like none other. Thus, making him one of the best friends a person could ask for. When Wilson eventually meets his demise at sea, it's a surprisingly sad moment.
