10 Everyday Things You Can't Do Without Thinking Of Movies
8. Not Being Able To Mention Or Hear The Words Band Camp Without Thinking Of American Pie
What do we all remember most from 1999's American Pie (aside from the awkward pie sex, of course)? Yup, Michelle Flaherty (Alyson Hannigan) and her many (MANY) stories reflecting on her time spent at Band Camp. She tells stories of roasting marshmallows, having pillow fights and all of her camp-mates forgetting their music from time to time. However, the most memorable story about Band Camp is when Michelle tells the tale of that one time (at Band Camp) she stuck her flute in her most privatest of lady parts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MH619vxtNdo With that being said, here's a quick challenge for you. Call any one of your friends on the phone right now and begin a story by using these three words "This one time". You are almost guaranteed to get a response of "at Band Camp?". Seriously, try this right now and see what happens. This is what this movie has done to us as a collective. We can't even tell a story without being interrupted by a movie quote. Oh yeah, just in case you thought we forgot. Yes, whenever you see a freshly-made apple pie sitting on your kitchen counter, the thought of Jason Biggs sticking his private parts in a pastry will enviably pop into your head. We wish this wasn't the case, but sadly it is.
