10 EXACT Moments Movies Self-Destructed

8. "Do Your Thing, Cuz" - Texas Chainsaw 3D

Texas Chainsaw 3D never rises above being a bad movie, but the point at which even the most charitable and undemanding of horror fans could stand it no more? The infamous "Do your thing, cuz" scene.

At the very end of the film, protagonist Heather (Alexandra Daddario) decides she's had enough of the corrupt authorities terrorising Leatherface (Dan Yeager), who she recently learned is her cousin.

And so, when facing off against the malevolent Mayor Burt Hartman (Paul Rae), Heather picks up Leatherface's chainsaw and throws it towards him, before dropping the toe-curlingly embarrassing one-liner, "Do your thing, cuz."

Now to be completely fair to Alexandra Daddario, there's probably no way to deliver this line in a manner that doesn't induce instant, laser-guided cringe, but her terrible line reading absolutely doesn't help.

It's a moment that feels so corny and out-of-step with the rest of the movie - which, again, is already quite terrible - as to finally sending it careening off a cliff.

If the movie didn't have just five minutes left after this, it would've been an instant cue to walk out.
