2. Jill Tells Dewey About Her & Gale's "Matching Wounds" - Scream 4

Scream 4's primary Ghostface killer is Sidney's (Neve Campbell) niece Jill (Emma Roberts), who is far and away the smartest killer of the series to date and the one who got so, so close to getting away scot-free.

Jill frames her ex-boyfriend Trevor (Nico Tortorella) and accomplice Charlie (Rory Culkin) as the real killers, mortally wounds Sid, and even brutally injures herself to ensure there was no doubt to her victimhood as the massacre's sole survivor.

Though Jill screws up by not confirming Sid's death, this mistake could've easily been rectified in the hospital had she not made an altogether sloppier gaffe, mentioning to Dewey (David Arquette) that she and Gale (Courteney Cox) had "matching wounds" on their arms.

There was no way for Jill to know that Gale suffered an arm injury during her earlier run-in with Ghostface, resulting in Dewey, Gale, Sid, and Judy Hicks (Marley Shelton) teaming up to take her down once and for all.

Take a silver medal, Jill - you very nearly got away with it, if not for your damn loose lips.
