10 Extremely Brief Movie Characters Who Totally Deserve Spin-Offs

1. Glengarry Glen Ross - Blake

Anybody who schools Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon, Alan Arkin, Ed Harris and Kevin Spacey is nothing short of a God amongst acting men. Alec Baldwin's small cameo was specifically written for him by writer David Mamet for his adaptation of his own play Glengarry Glenn Ross, and he shines as one of the best characters in film history with a screen time of only ten minutes. What's his name? F**k you, that's his name. (It's actually Blake) Without spoiling too much for those who haven't seen this incredible film, there is so much going on in terms of performance with legends like Pacino, who plays the cocky guy who doesn't need to sell. Then there is Jack Lemmon, the guy whose livelihood depends on sales (incidentally the Simpsons character Gil was based on this performance). It really defies belief that one actor can steal so much away from heavy weights such as those two, but for those who have seen it, you know that Blake is the one you take away with you the most. Lets see a spin off of this guy in his own world, he is billed as nothing more than hired help to get these guys to shift sales, but we really see the man at the top of his game. His aggression, passion and pure volatile outlook to something as simple as generic sales driven working life begs an extended look. And remember folks ABC - Always Be Closing. Missed one out? Who would you like to see get there own spin off? Have your say below...
