2. X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Gambit
A hugely wasted opportunity is our man Remy LeBeau. He could have easily been a one of the most interesting a likeable characters in the Marvel film world, but his only screen time so far is a short and understated look in during the diabolical X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Played by Taylor Kitsch, opting for a generic New Orleans accent (Gambits birth place, but not where he grew up) as oppose to the uber cool French one that we may have come to expect, we see Gambit for brief moments during the clawed ones outing, and to those who know either the comic or TV Cartoon, before this ill fated glimpse of live action, Gambit was literally one of the coolest characters in the X-Men. A little bit maverick, a little bit loner, he is edgy, deadly and all round cool, except, not in this. His character deserves a spin off more than anyone, it would be great to see him rubbing shoulders with Wolverine in Days of Future past for example, but it is quite clear that he has become nothing but a forgotten man in Singers vision. A re-cast and a re-think wouldn't go a miss for this Remy.
