9. Goodfellas - Jimmy Two Times
Much like Gordon Cole, how does a man who stutters his way through life, saying everything twice get as high as Jimmy Two Times does in the Mafia? Jimmy Two Times is easily one of the most memorable ends to one of the best scenes in any film out there. Towards the beginning of Goodfellas, the camera is acting as Henry Hill (Liotta) or us as an audience, as it introduces us to the minor sub characters of the film. Most you see again at some point, mainly during the great cull scene (accompanied perfectly by Derek and the Dominoes), but JTT is never seen or spoken of again. Seriously, what the hell happened to Jimmy Two Times? Did he get killed? Did he even work on the Lufthansa Heist? Did he go work for another crime family? Or did he go straight? After reading the book Wise Guys and watching the film countless times, the fate of Jimmy Two Times is not revealed anywhere. Is he a figment of the script writers imagination? Created just to flesh out the world, or did he actually exist in the world of real time crook Henry Hill? One thing is for sure; any man who has two lines (the same one twice), needs to be seen more. Never has there been a smaller character from a film that warrants a spin off more than this guy.
