10 Extremely Subtle Movie Cameos That Went Straight Over Your Head
5. Huey Lewis Is The School Board Chairman/Judge In Back To The Future
You know when you're watching a movie and a bit character says a line, and you're like, that didn't sound right - is that guy really an actor? Why did they hire him to say that? You're probably more right than you know at least half of the time, because these people always turn out to be non-actors making cameos.
A prime example for this is Back to the Future, where Huey Lewis (yep, the guy from Huey Lewis and the News) appears as the guy who turns down Marty's band when they audition to play at the prom for being "just too darn loud." Go figure.
The reason for his inclusion is pretty self-explanatory, given that Lewis and his band provided a couple of awesome songs for the movie's soundtrack, including the now infamous "Power of Love" and that one during the end credits where they sing about getting back in time. 'Cause this movie is about time travel, see? Relevant.
