10 Family-Friendly Movies With Ridiculously High Body Counts

8. Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

Body count: 90 One thing that many people are in agreement on is the deterioration in quality as the Pirates Of The Caribbean series progresses - it's a familiar pattern seen in many franchise, but at least the second installment, Dead Man's Chest, is still good fun to watch. The deaths in Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest are spread fairly liberally throughout the rather lengthy running time - 28 souls plummet to the bottom of the ocean once the Kraken makes his appearance, while the finale throws up another 33 corpses for the crows to feast upon. As if exhibiting cinematic karma, a crow also dies in Dead Man's Chest, while the skeleton leg used as an oar doesn't quite make it into the body count since it isn't a full skeleton.
