10 Family-Friendly Movies With Ridiculously High Body Counts

9. The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe

Body count: 86 Raiders Of The Lost Ark came out before the introduction of the PG-13 rating and would have almost certainly been given that had it been released after the rating's introduction. The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The WItch, And The Wardrobe, on the other hand, contains nothing as horrific as melting men and sits comfortably in the PG category. The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe was something of a minor misfire when it came to adapting C. S. Lewis's classic children's book - it wasn't an unmitigated disaster but more could have been made of the excellent cast, while the ending battle scene felt like a cynical cash-in on the popularity of the Lord Of The Rings trilogy. Still, if you want to increase the body count in your family movie a good battle is an easy way to do it - no less than 81 deaths from the total 86 in The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe occur in this final scene.
