9. Tom Hanks Has To Pee

As Witnessed In: The Money Pit, A League Of Their Own, The 'Burbs, Apollo 13, Cast Away, Road To Perdition, The Green Mile, Forrest Gump, The Terminal There's no rhyme and reason as to why Tom Hanks likes to pee in his movies about as much as Tom Cruise likes to run in his, but comb through his filmography and you'll find that so many of his flicks contain scenes which either require him to pee or to talk about the act of peeing. The bizarre thing about this is that Hanks himself probably wasn't aware that he had a secret fetish for "signing up to movies with a least one peeing scene," but that's exactly what's happened. Remember that The Green Mile has an entire subplot based around Tom Hanks' urinary troubles, or that in Forrest Gump he meets John F. Kennedy before memorably telling the President "I gotta pee"? There are passing references to peeing in The Money Pit, a full-on scene depicting pee as it's launched into space in Apollo 13, and a comical scene in The Terminal which has Hanks struggling to get something done whilst he really needs to go to the bathroom.
