10 Famous Actors Who Are Skipping Movies In 2019

6. Sandra Bullock

The box-office success of Ocean's 8 has left Sandra Bullock in a good position going forward. Far from the Ghostbusters-style disaster many predicted it would be, the movie was a gleefully enjoyable romp with a cast who were loving every second. And, with nearly $300 million worldwide on a $70 million budget, it seems like general audiences loved it too.

That kind of money almost makes a sequel inevitable, but with no formal announcement just yet, Bullock's forthcoming slate is looking a little bare.

This December she'll be starring in Netflix horror Bird Box, a post-apocalyptic thriller about a woman and a pair of children who are blindfolded, and left to navigate a bleak dystopian world. But after that, her 2019 is completely empty, as is her 2020. An Ocean's 8 sequel will probably fill the latter void though, and that could be the very next time we see her star in a movie.

In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too.
