8. Michael Fassbender - James Bond
Michael Fassbender is smooth. Sure, he's capable of playing characters of all types (some of them not even human - hello Prometheus), but when you listen to this guy talk, he's suave, collected and mesmerising - you also get the sense that he might just not be who he says he is, which makes him perfect for James Bond. Don't believe that Fassbender would grant us with a fantastic 007? Check him out as Lt. Archie Hicox in Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds. The thing about Fassbender is that he totally fits the bill in so many ways - he's handsome, charming and he even looks a lot like the Bond that Ian Fleming drew when he created the character. And though a Fassbender interpretation of this iconic secret agent would undoubtably differ to Daniel Craig's version (less rough and tumble, perhaps, more calculated suaveness), it would've been great to see. Has the ship sailed? Not for certain, but in all likelihood, yes.
