8. Steven Seagal
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fZNykxa9Do Let's be clear about this: I'm fully aware that if I were to say anything too harsh about Steven Seagal's music career, then he could probably quite easily find me and snap me like a twig. That is my understanding of his films, anyway. But the aikido black-belt did indeed try his hand behind a microphone, because clearly his range was not being challenged enough in his acting career. Seagal described his style of music as "outsider country-meets-world music-meets-aikido", which, to give him credit, is very obviously a rather untapped market. Still, Seagal's songs aren't all that bad. Two albums, "Songs from the Crystal Cave" and "Mojo Priest" were released, with some of his songs going on to feature in his films. "Don't You Cry", as featured above, was one such song found in his film Into the Sun, where Seagal plays the guitar as well as performing lead vocals. It's a very moving piece of music, as I'm sure you'll agree.
