4. Jackie Chan
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=loUiJjWX0Zo What is it with famous martial artists also having a go at a career in music? Unlike Seagal though, Jackie Chan has been cutting his musical chops for quite some time, taking vocal lessons from an early age. Having been recording music since the 1980s, Chan is actually quite a well regarded and popular music star in his native Hong Kong and China. Chan has also performed the theme music for many of his films also, though many audiences missed out on his performance of the song "I'll Make a Man Out of You" in Disney's "Mulan", after it was dubbed over in the American release. Why they opted to do that is unclear, as Jackie can actually sing rather well. He got his opportunity at singing on a global stage later in his career though, thanks to the 2008 Olympics. "We Are Ready" was released one year before the Beijing Olympics were to open and became a big hit in China, while he would also perform a song in the closing ceremony of the 2008 Olympics alongside other actors from Hong Kong, beaming out to millions across the world.
