10 Famous Actors Who Tried A Music Career

2. Milla Jovovich

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8EYLiZa8hs Yes, when she's not kicking ass in yet another film in the Resident Evil franchise (or being far superior and kicking ass in The Fifth Element), Milla Jovovich has been trying her hand in a recording studio. She's also been trying at it for about two decades or so now in fact, having been signed by a record label back in 1988 and started preparing an album then - which would finally come out in 1994. Since then, despite talk of a second official album, nothing has come of it apart from demo tracks and an occasional single. With such long gaps between songs, you sort of wonder whether Milla is taking it seriously or whether she's just giving up on the idea. The problem is that Milla's songs are actually quite good - surprisingly good, in fact. "Gentleman Who Fell", the lead single from that 1994 album ("The Divine Comedy") actually had a music video produced and is of a Kate Bush-esque style. Her latest cut is the 2012 single "Electric Sky" featured above and really shows off her impressive range. Maybe she should focus on that second album and hang up the grudge against the Umbrella Corporation...
