1. William Shatner
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvQwXOCKNLY This is not a traditional countdown of sorts, but one has to the face facts that William Shatner has to be number one on *any* list. And if you are talking about Shatner's music career, then there is one performance that truly stands out: "Rocket Man". The most exaggerated performance of the song possible, Shatner's epic three-person solo of the song in his familiar "speak-singing" dramatic style is one of the most iconic moments of his entire career in any form. Whether it is through parody or through actual admiration for him, Shatner's career as a musician has been relatively successful, with albums being released to good reception throughout for over forty years and his musical talents being utilised in films such as Miss Congeniality. There are no signs that he plans on stopping his ventures either, which for all reasons we should be thankful for. Did we miss any movie stars turned musicians who deserved a mention?
