1. Brad Pitt Kick Ass
No matter how much perfume he flogs or how forgettable his latest film, Brad Pitt remains as likable as ever. Like DiCaprio hes managed to develop with the industry and can still snap up interesting lead roles. And although hes yet to grab an acting Oscar, theres still a golden baldie sitting on his shelf. His production studio Plan B was originally co-founded with Jennifer Aniston, but the awkwardness clearly became too much and now its a Pitt only venture. As well as producing many of his recent outings (The Tree Of Life, Killing Them Softly and World War Z were all released under its banner), its been behind some of the most interesting films weve been offered over the past few years, most notably Scorseses Academy adored The Departed (where Pitt got that Oscar). More interesting than that, however, is the variety of pies Pitts got his fingers in. The first Kick-Ass struggled to find a home at any major studio due to Matthew Vaughns desire to maintain the comics violence, leading to the director self-financing. However, eventually Plan B came on board and Pitt became producer. If thats not awesome I dont know what is?
