3. Leonardo DiCaprio - Orphan
Maybe thats wishful thinking from a fan, but Im yet to be swayed from my opinion that Leonardo DiCaprio is the finest working actor today. His projects are all so varied, but with each character fitting him like a glove he manages to bring something fresh to each performance. He is undoubtedly the greatest working actor to never receive an Oscar. I realise Im about to go off on one, so bringing it back to the point, as well as acting Leos produced a few movies under the banner of Appian Way. Most notable out of the ones hes not starred in being Orphan. The film got a bit of a grubbing upon release, dismissed as a jump-scare modern horror, but theres enough originality in both the plot and acting that its more than worthy of watch. That Leo saw that potential in an initially simple idea is testament to his producing credentials. What interesting project did he go for next I hear you ask? That Amanda Seyfried headed Red Riding Hood atrocity. Well, nobody's perfect.
