Dustin Hoffman seems like a nice, grounded guy, right? He's one of the best and most respected actors of his generation, he's been in some of the greatest motion pictures of all-time, and there's... oh, who are we kidding? The man likes to watch women shopping for shoes! Well, apparently. Why or how anybody would admit this, we don't know, but according to a old interview with US magazine The Globe, this is a pastime that, uh, really gets this famous guy going. "The trying on of shoes is ritualistic. It's so much joy to watch," he said on the subject, before adding: "Women enter a different atmosphere when they shop for shoes and they pick the ones that hurt the most." The fact that he's even noticed the difference in "atmosphere" - and has invested enough time in watching people to realise any of this - really marks this out as a particularly bizarre fetish. Seriously, hasn't Dustin Hoffman got better things to do with his time?
