9. Jeff Goldblum's Film Debut Was Also In Death Wish, Playing "Freak 1"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erm7QDCl-3s Death Wish apparently served as a movie where future Hollywood stars would go to play unflattering bit parts: Jeff Goldblum (who has had a successful career playing nerdy dorks and scientists) got his first screen credit here, too, playing a slimy character called "Freak 1," though he gets far more screen time than poor ol' Denzel. In the scene, Goldblum's character runs around a supermarket causing all sorts of mayhem, before making a checkout girl feel uncomfortable by, like, glaring at her. Despite looking about forty (and sort of like Prince), you might be shocked to learn that Goldblum was just 21 years old when he appeared in Death Wish.
