10 Famous American Actors With Awful British Accents

2. Keanu Reeves - Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992)

Dracula keanu reeves I know... I know! The majority of you will be amazed and perplexed that Keanu hasn't reached number 1 for his mangling of the British accent, but you should now realise who has taken pride and place if Reeves isn't up there and sitting pretty. Asking Keanu to act is bad enough, but acting with an accent? What the heck was Francis Ford Coppola thinking?! Not a lot, as it happens, because this gothic horror is really horrific for all the wrong reasons. The acting all round is atrocious and the film is melodramatic and so sluggish, with Gary Oldman taking the initiative and deciding to ham it up and have a lark about with his rubbish wig hanging off his bonce, the guy is clearly taking the p*ss €“ and good for him, quite frankly. The icing though is Keanu's softy-spoken and effeminate tones, as he carefully enunciates every single word and delivers his lines with the conviction of a blind man at a fireworks display. Have a look at a brilliant compilation of Keanu acting his little socks off: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moaW8LRusak

Steven feels like a sociopath writing a bio about himself in third person, but it feels kind of nice, and he's sure he'll get used to it.
