10 Famous Movie Scenes Only Made Possible By Deceiving Actors
6. Tony Revolori Didn't Know He Was About To Be Slapped By Harvey Keitel - The Grand Budapest Hotel
Long before he was rocking up in the MCU Spidey-verse as everyone's favourite Peter Parker pain in the *ss Flash Thompson, Anthony Revolori was making a name for himself as one of the leading lights in Wes Anderson's typically star-studded The Grand Budapest Hotel.
As Zero Moustafa, Gustave's trusty new bellhop, Revolori routinely held his own when sharing the screen with everyone from Edward Norton to Ralph Fiennes. However, one of his most memorable sequences in the flick came when the youngster found himself coming up against the legendary Harvey Keitel's prison gang leader, Ludwig.
Taking a rather nasty smack to the chops from the Mean Streets star in one particular scene, it was later revealed that Revolori actually had no idea this shot to the mug was heading his way. What's worse is the fact that Anderson, Keitel, and Fiennes had all spoken about the slap heading into the scene when Revolori was nowhere to be seen. So, not only was he caught completely unawares by the physical beat, but he also had to endure this headshot a whopping 42-times before the scene was in the can.
D*ck move, gents.
