10 Famous Movie Villains With Lame Motivations

8. Kimmy (The Purge: Election Year)

The Purge Election Year Kimmy Candy Girl
Universal Pictures

The Motivation: She wanted a candy bar.

We first meet Kimmy in the third Purge movie, where she's caught trying to steal a candy bar from a local convenience store. The store's owner, Joe Dixon, forces her to return the bar, which she does - but not without mouthing off in the process.

When the annual Purge finally begins, Kimmy and her gang make a beeline for Joe's store, and start trying to cut through his metal security gates to get inside and kill everyone. But Kimmy has more than just murder on her mind: what she really wants is that candy bar.

She spends the entire scene yelling about how she's a "candy girl", and that she can take whatever she wants, including that sweet sweet chocolate. It's meant to be scary, but Kimmy is just too childish and silly to be taken seriously. Thankfully, she's silenced when an ambulance smashes into her, before being finished off with a gunshot to the head. Candy mission: failed.
