10 Famous Movies That People Still Believe Are Cursed

8. Twilight Zone: The Movie

The Twilight Zone: The Movie shoot was a truly tragic one. During the filming of the John Landis directed segment Time Out, veteran actor Vic Morrow along with child actors Myca Dinh Le and Renee Shin-Yi Chen died when a helicopter lost control and crashed on the set. Morror and Dinh Le were decapitated in the horrific accident. So why do people think that the movie is cursed? Years before filming while on the set of the film Dirty Mary Crazy Larry, Morrow refused to fly in a helicopter saying "I'm not getting up in the helicopter... I have a premonition that I€™m going to get killed in a helicopter crash". When people found out about the incident, it lead them to believe the film (or Morrow) was cursed. Morrow also apparently took out a $5m life insurance policy because of his premonition. The movie dogged the careers of Landis and others (including producer Steven Spielberg) for years, but it can hardly be considered cursed, just a tragedy that could (and should) have been avoided.
