10 Fantasy Movie Announcements That Would Break The Internet

7. Christopher Nolan To Direct Bond 26. Guy Pearce Announced As New Bond

Nolan's BondAnnouncement: "At a press conference this afternoon, EON Productions announced that as of the next Bond film (the first without Daniel Craig in the title role), Tom Felton will be taking over for the role of Britain's top spy. Accompanying him is first time franchise director, long time dreamer Christopher Nolan, finally making good on his want to direct a Bond film. Bond 26's title isn't known, but is slated for a November release next year." Why It Would Break The Internet: Christopher Nolan pretty much has Carte Blanche in Hollywood, and probably will for a while. To indulge him his want to make a Bond film would send fans into a frenzy. What's more, deciding who will be the next Bond is always the next question to burn on everyone's lips, and (at least from where I'm standing) Guy Pearce should be allowed to do a couple Bond films. (Especially considering the book Carte Blanche crafts Bond in his likeness, and should most definitely be used for inspiration.) Sample Comment of Snark: "Nolan does Bond? Didn't we already see Inception?"
