2. Laura

Though just about everybody was quick to lavish praise on Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart for their fantastic performances in Logan, the heart and soul of the movie is effectively formed by Dafne Keen's outstanding turn as Laura aka X-23.

With the movie concluding with Logan's death while Laura escapes across the Canadian border, there's already been a lot of talk about a Laura solo movie, catching up with her a few years later, with Keen presumably reprising the role as a teenager.

Considering how fantastic Keen was in the part, and how awesome it'd be for audiences to see the character grow up over both the next movie and some possible future involvement in the core X-Men franchise, Fox will be leaving money on the table if they don't pursue this. No rush, though, as Keen needs to age a few years first.

How Likely Is It?: Logan director James Mangold says a script is already being written, and while that's no guarantee the film will ever get made, it does actually seem like a pretty sure thing, short of Keen deciding not to return for some reason. If it doesn't begin shooting within the next five years, it'd be pretty damn surprising. 9/10
