8. Asami Yamazaki (Audition)
It could be argued that
Audition is a movie about gender politics, rather than just a sadistic 'torture-porn' debacle, but the fact is that Asami Yamazaki (Eihi Shiina) is just a crazy bitch. Shigeharu Aoyama (Ryo Ishibashi) is a middle-aged widower whose friend arranges a special screening for him - a series of girls will 'audition' to be his future wife. Asami is the girl that Shigeharu takes a shine to, but she is not what she seems. After a series of sickening events are revealed to the viewer (but not to Shigeharu) that would suggest that Asami is a psychotic killer, she breaks in to his house and drugs his liquor. When he comes home from work and pours himself a drink, he is rendered unconscious. When he comes around, he finds that he has been injected with a drug that paralyses him, but he can still feel pain. She tortures him with needles and cuts off his foot with a wire saw, claiming that he isn't allowed to love anyone but her - including his own son. Basically, don't objectify women in Asami's presence. And don't show anyone else any kind of attention once you've shown her some; You'll end up getting a hell of a lot more than your bargained for.
