Originating from Greek myth and seen in plenty of big budget fantasy adventure movies over the years, the pegasus would be the substitute for our weekend car: way too flashy and extravagant from simply driving to work, but take one out into the country and let it loose and you're in for a good time. Also, we don't know of any ladies who would turn down a fella on a flying horse, or vice versa for that matter, so take that as you will. It's not all high flying sex appeal however: on top of the previously mentioned horse/unicorn/tauntaun type problems, Greek myth has the pegasus as an incredibly fussy beast who only allows the most noble of people to ride him. We don't fancy having to have a lengthy heart to heart with it to prove our mortal worth every time we wanna go for a joyride. Still, for those with a firm moral compass, the pegasus would make the weekend getaway that much easier. Lost weekends away to Europe now seem all the more appealing if you don't have to deal with air travel or worse, the Euro Star.
