10 Film Franchises You Really Should Stop Watching After The 2nd Movie

5. Blade

Spider-Man 3
New Line Cinema

The first two Blade movies aren’t exactly cinematic masterpieces, with their schlocky dialogue and so-so performances. Despite these draw backs, you can’t deny their great sense of fun.

With Guillermo del Toro in the director’s chair, Blade 2 is the obvious stand-out. It’s easy to be sucked into the engrossing atmosphere and exciting action of del Toro’s effort.

The quality of these movies, unfortunately, plummeted straight off a cliff with the release of Blade: Trinity. Tensions between Wesley Snipes and both the producers and director meant that the movie had an incredibly troubled production. This resulted in Trinity being far more incoherent than its predecessors.

It also resulted in a very amusing pair of CGI eyes, so maybe give it a watch just for that.
