If you're wealthy and live on Elysium then you'll have one of these swanky MRI looking machines in your house, because that's how things work on that there posh space station. Having one of these medical bays will render you practically immortal, because this thing cures everything, so you wouldn't have to worry about pesky things like colds or worse, cancer. The medical breakthroughs are astounding, one man even has his whole face reconstructed mere moments after it was just blown off - they even found a way to instantly regrow his large, bushy beard at the same time. As I said, astounding. It's easy to feel that this is pure science fiction, but ipon further research, it appears that the machine uses nanotechnology, which in reality is something that medical science is currently plowing massive amounts of resources into, so who knows what they'll create? I'm optimistic that we'll see something like this one day, and when we do I hope they'll share it around and not just give it to the wealthy, because I would be screwed.
