5. Topher Grace - Eddie Brock
Volumes have been written about Spider-Man 3 - specifically about how much fan's dislike it, and drilling down even more, about how the origin, and character of Venom was handled. The symbiote itself is hard to screw up - being CGI - but the casting of its host is another story. Known forever as Eric Foreman from That 70s Show, Topher Grace was cast as Eddie Brock immediately sending fans everywhere to the Internet to express their dismay. As he is drawn in the comic book, Eddie is drawn as a large, muscular with a blonde, military crew cut. He is 6'3" and 260lbs. Topher Grace on the other hand is small, fairly scrawny with brown hair. He is 5'10 and a half and nowhere near 260lbs. At least he dyed his hair blonde for the role, though.
