1. He-Man (Masters Of The Universe)
When you think of He-Man, you most likely think of the classic cartoon television series from the 1980s. In said series, He-Man was "the most powerful man in the universe". Strong enough to move the moon through brute force alone, strong enough to lift Castle Grayskull and strong enough to physically cast aside any opponent who dared to get in to a straight-up brawl with him. And then think of the comic book version from around the same time; when the Masters of the Universe comics were being published by DC, He-Man got in to an altercation with pre-crisis Superman (who was being mind-controlled by Skeletor) and held his own - and that was when Superman was a hell of a lot more powerful than the Superman of the post-crisis era or the Superman in the Nu comics of today. However, in the live action movie starring Dolph Lundgren from 1987, he was extremely weak in comparison. He barely showed any strength beyond that of a real world human - except on one occasion, when he pushed over a twenty foot high statue with some effort. Essentially, he was hugely decreased in power for this particular version - a true shadow of his usual self. So there you have it; Ten characters who weren't as powerful as the character's usual portrayal. Which other examples can you think of? Let us know in the comments box below.
