7. Hulk (The Incredible Hulk)
And now we arrive at the version of the Hulk we mentioned in the last entry. The Bill Bixby/Lou Ferrigno television version of the Hulk was a far cry from the unstoppable brute we all know from the comics. Comic book Hulk has displayed the power to rampage through the entire planet, smashing superheroes in his wake. He has smashed asteroids and lifted billions of tonnes of mountain off himself and can regerate from damage in seconds (though it's very hard to damage him in the first place, given that he can take punches from the likes of Thor, Sentry, Abomination and Red Hulk). However, the television series Hulk's best strength feat was probably when he merely threw a boulder a fair distance (don't get me wrong, that's some strength right there, but nothing close to his comic book counterpart). He also defeated a bear in combat and survived a big fall from a helicopter (though in an earlier episode he was also injured by a hunting rifle, so he was a bit up and down on the durability front). When all's said and done, he was tough - but not comic book tough.
