How could a show as indescribable as Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! even be adapted into a feature film? Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim play two filmmakers who were given a billion dollars to make a movie, then end up spending most of it on their lavish lifestyles and an expensive guru played by Zach Galifianakis. When the movie’s financiers demand their money back, Tim and Eric somehow think the best way to raise the money they owe is to take over as managers of a rundown shopping mall.

The film has nothing to do with the TV show, but borrows some of the low-fi video manipulation humor that the show so often utilizes. The film is hard to digest, featuring such subject matter as a man taking another man’s son as his own, a wolf on the loose that lives inside the mall, and a man cutting off his own arm during a drug bender.

The film features a supporting cast and cameos from well-known actors and Tim and Eric collaborators such as Jeff Goldblum, Will Ferrell, John C Reilly, and Will Forte. Against a $3 million budget Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie made a mere $223,000 worldwide. Of course critics hated it, but that was actually kind of the point.

Kyle Mustain hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
