10 Films That Risk Being 2015's Biggest Box Office Failures

Ten movies that could turn out to be the year's biggest bombs.

2015 has the potential to be the biggest year in history at the box office, with all of the major studios hedging their bets on a stacked roster of mega-budget movies that are going to hit movie fans right in their wallets. Blockbuster season has been starting earlier and earlier with each passing year, but in 2015 it looks set to span the entire twelve months; from last week's Taken 3 to the Christmas Day release of Mission: Impossible 5, the blockbusters just keep on coming. While its almost a foregone conclusion that Avengers: Age Of Ultron and Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be the two biggest hits of the year, there is a huge variety of big-budget movies making their way to theaters in the coming months; the comic book, fantasy, horror, sci-fi and comedy genres are all well-represented, not to mention highly-anticipated sequels including Jurassic World, Spectre, Ted 2 and Furious 7 to name but a very small few. However, despite the sheer number of movies that are virtually guaranteed to do big business, there will inevitably be many that crash and burn and end up suffering the ignominy of being labeled as one of 2015's biggest box office bombs. With that in mind, this article will take a look at ten movies that could suffer such a fate. While some of these movies could turn out to be incredible (and a couple of them probably will), at the time of writing these big-budget productions seem more likely than the majority of the competition to suffer a tough time at the box office. Do you agree with the movies on this list? Do you think any of them will turn out to be smash hits? Are there any others that you would have included instead? I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
