10 Films That Only Make Sense If You See The Director’s Cut

1. Daredevil

Nobody is claiming Ben Affleck's Daredevil is a good movie, but it's nowhere near as bad as you remember if you watch the director's cut.

Mark Steven Johnson's 2003 superhero outing was savaged in the editing room, stripped bare of everything, including its plot.

Johnson's director's cut is a darker offering with depth where the cinematic cut falls flat and actual characterisation, rather than just action and pointless romance.

Although the extended Daredevil is nowhere near the level of the recent Netflix series, it's fair to say the studio tore the Man Without Fear's heart out and turned an above average movie into an abysmal, barely watchable one.
