10 Films That Would Make Great TV Shows

1. Blade

You can be forgiven for forgetting that a Blade TV series was attempted to abysmal results just over a decade ago, so let's just pretend that a future series (which many believe to be inevitable) would be the first try. The Wesley Snipes fronting Blade trilogy, which came before the MCU began to dominate your local multiplex (if ever you could remember such a time), made full use of one of Marvel's most badass characters.

The natural home for any Blade TV series would undoubtedly be Netflix. Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, not Marvel's most bankable characters, have proven to be massive hits for the streaming company. They are also, thankfully, at times very brutal, as Netflix don't have to worry about younger viewers not being able to watch their content in a cinema. If Blade was to have another outing, it naturally has to be violent, much like the first two Blade movies, and Netflix have already proven that this possibility does not faze them.

It would be cool to have Wesley Snipes back onboard, but if the series was going to be planned to stay on our TV screens for a long time it may be worth looking for a younger actor to don the shades.

All things considered, it's highly doubtful that Blade has received his final nail in the coffin just yet.

Do you agree with our choices, or do you believe they would make awful television series? Or maybe we've completely missed out a sure hit? Let us know in the comments below!
