3. David Tennant In Jude

If you've seen the 1996 period film Jude - and, let's face it, probably even if you haven't - then you'll know that it features a certain Christopher Eccleston in its title role of Jude Fawley, a stonemason who is steadfastly pursuing a cousin he loves (to cut a very long story short). What you might not be aware of, however, is that Christopher isn't the only Time Lord who makes an appearance in this critically acclaimed adaptation of Thomas Hardy's iconic novel. In one scene the Ninth Doctor star briefly shares the screen with his future sci-fi successor David Tennant who pops up - albeit for all of 10 seconds - to steal the show in his coveted role as 'Drunk Undergraduate'. And the award for the Most Convincing Intoxicated Bit Part goes to... Oh, and this does mean that the Ninth and Tenth Doctors have met, in case you were wondering. It's basically canon.
