8. Bond 24 (2015)
If adjusted for inflation, the Bond films are the highest grossing film series of all time. That's not hard to do with 23 films released over 50 years, but it's impressive nonetheless. Last year's entry, Skyfall, was both a critical and financial success, scoring a great 92% on Rottentomatoes and taking over $1.1 billion at the global box office (making it the highest grossing Bond outing and the 8th highest-grossing film ever). The film gave Bond a much needed push in the right direction, after the mildly disappointing Quantum of Solace, generating general excitement in the character again while imbuing the franchise with grit and humor at the same time. With Skyfall director Sam Mendes returning for the next installment, slated for release in 2015, and Daniel Craig suiting up again as 007, I predict that audiences will continue their love affair with the MI6 agent and usher Bond 24 into the club.
