Role in the Buffyverse: Adam (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) Role in the Taken: Security Guard George Hertzberg played Adam - the "big bad" of Buffy The Vampire Slayer Season four. Adam was a cyborg made up from parts of a human, various demons and augmented with technology which meant that, as well as superhuman physical prowess and an evil streak, he also had a built in mini-gun and grenade launcher. He was defeated when Buffy, Willow, Xander and Giles merged to form an uber-being via a magical spell. Hertzberg also played a security guard at the birthday party of the daughter of Liam Neeson's Bryan Mills in the brilliant 2009 action thriller Taken. He was completely unrecognisable from his Adam character, as that required him to wear heavy make-up (and his Taken role was obviously make-up free).
