10 Films You Didn't Realise Buffyverse Actors Were In

5. Glenn Quinn - Shout

Role in the Buffyverse: Allen Francis Doyle (Angel) Role in Shout: Alan The late Glenn Quinn (he passed away from an accidental heroin overdose in 2002 when he was just 32 years of age) portrayed the character of Allen Francis Doyle - a half-Brachen demon-half-human character who possessed the gift of visions from the Powers That Be, which he used to aid Angel in his good fight and went on to pass on to Cordelia Chase. Aside from playing Mark Healy in Roseanne, Quinn didn't really have many other prominent roles, but he did star alongside John Travolta and Heather Graham in the 1991 movie Shout. It was a relatively minor role as a troubled young man, but he shared an on-screen kiss with Gwyneth Paltrow in what was her first movie role and was actually said to have stolen the show in an otherwise critically-panned movie (John Travolta was even nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Supporting Actor, but "lost out" to Dan Aykroyd for his role in Nothing But Trouble).
