10 Films You Must Never Watch With Your Parents

8. Black Swan

Black Swan

In between a heart-wrenching tale of an ageing sportsman with The Wrestler and his biblical epic, Noah Darren Aronofsky made a twisted version of Swan Lake. Yeah, he really isn't your run of the mill director. Black Swan sees Natalie Portman play the introverted Nina, a dancer with a seemingly fractured view on the world. Auditioning for the double-role of the White and Black Swan, her director finds her unsuitable for the darker side of the character.

What follows is her embracing that darker side, with the help of Mila Kunis' Lily; you get some drink spiking and a very graphic sexual awakening. Nina's shaky mental state infects the whole film, with it never being sure what's real and what's imaginary, making it very hard to predict the more risqué elements. Despite having a scene were Nina sprouts feathers and literally transforms into a black swan the scene that got tongues wagging was the erotic Kunis-Portman moment. Wonder why.

The Worst Bit: The sex scene between Nina and Lily, obviously. It's made even worse with the twist/punchline; it was all in Nina's imagination and her mother's sat right by the bed.
