Here's the plot for 3 Dev Adam, a Turkish spin on Captain America: an evil Istanbul-based gang led by - wait for it - Spider-Man are leading a counterfeit money syndicate, and it's up to Captain America, Santo (the Mexican folk icon) and his girlfriend Julia to put a stop to it. Spider-Man has none of his original powers, but can raise himself back from the dead, and also occasionally wields Guinea pigs as weapons. I'll wait for you to take that all in. Who genuinely came up with that idea back in 1973? Who decided that comic book hero Captain America should be the star of a Turkish movie, that his partner should be a Mexican wrestler, and that Spider-Man (who doesn't look like Spider-Man at all) should be the bad guy? It's as if there was an explosion in a child's bedroom somewhere, and the director built a script out of things he found lying around the room in the aftermath. Mind totally blown.
